Red lipstick 'can be experimented with'
13 December 2010 13:30
Women should consider experimenting more with red lipstick as it is very flexible, according to a new fashion report.
In a piece for the Hindustan Times, it was explained that people can keep themselves looking young and fresh in their compact mirror by picking a sheer and tinted red lipstick.
Meanwhile, for a more classic look that parallels the likes of Audrey Hepburn, "divas have always chosen red", the fashion expert continued, so choosing the deepest scarlet will be the most successful option to pull off this look.
If you are at work, the newspaper explained that wearing a "light, not-too-striking shade" of red topped with a touch of gloss can make lipstick is smudge-proof and long lasting yet classy and refined.
It concluded: "Cover your flaws: rich, matte reds can take eyes off any flaw on the face. So don't fret over that zit - bring out your li'l red cover-up."
Last week, make-up artist Troy Surratt told Allure magazine that dependable lipstick must make always be in a personalised shade of red.
