Kate Middleton 'did own make-up' for Testino shoot

As far as photo shoots go, none get more glamorous than those directed by Mario Testino. What's more, it is very rare that ladies would use their compact mirror for make-up, instead relying on a big team of helpers.

One woman, however, was willing to be brave and use her compact mirror to keep her look personalised prior to a Testino appointment. Kate Middleton, the bride-to-be of Prince William, applied her own make-up prior to the photography session.

Us Magazine, despite mocking her outfit for being one season old, said that Kate used her compact mirror to play up her eyes with a sophisticated palette of black and browns.

It continued: "Want to mimic her style? Use natural shades of golden browns on the eyes, and line upper and lower lids with black eyeliner. Finish with black mascara."

Clarence House confirmed in November that Kate and William are marrying next year after getting engaged in October in Kenya, East Africa, during a 10-day trip to the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy.
