Eva Longoria has shocker with compact mirror mishap

It's not often that you're able to criticise Eva Longoria on her choice of make-up, but a recent compact mirror faux pas left her looking a little like Adam Ant.

The Desperate Housewives actress was criticised by plenty of style magazines and websites this week after her under-eye concealer was discovered with ease under the harsh light of paparazzi flashbulbs.

Eva was heading to Katsuya, a popular celeb hotspot, looking otherwise great in a long grey knit sweater, leggings and knee-high leather boots, though the huge white lines under her eyes detracted from the overall look.

StyleBistro said that it won't have looked like that as she applied it in her compact mirror, though warned: "A lot of cosmetics have reflective particles in them to add a bit of extra glow; unfortunately, these particles can make for one alien-looking photo op."

Towards the end of last year, Eva split with husband of seven years Tony Parker, the basketball star playing in the NBA for the league-leading San Antonio Spurs.
