Barely-there look is 'top for new season'

Catwalks are usually only seen as a place for fashion to be showcased, yet the latest trends transcend fabrics, colours and styles, because make-up is also shown to the public.

In regards to compact mirror looks this season, Hello magazine said: "This season, they're focused on a 'barely there' look: a minimum of make-up, or, at least, make-up that looks minimal."

It argued that a light look allows natural beauty to shine through. Luckily, it noted that big brands are offering buyers more products that protect the skin while also being "gentle, soft to the touch and virtually invisible to the eye".

Hello added that beauty experts are often now opting for "second skin textures" which allow both a "fine and flexible finish" to get rid of any blemishes and imperfections but also boosting the natural beauty of every face it is used on.

Last week, the Daily Mail noted how model Danielle Lloyd was looking great with a barely-there look of her own, stepping out in front of cameras on her birthday without any make-up on whatsoever.
